I am in love with Crate Paper's paper! I love the weight of it and the styles of their lines! I have a card to share today that uses the Restoration line.
How pretty are those colors? They are my favorite right now. I had to find a way to incorporate my other favorite thing, the Martha Stewart doilies. It was just too bright when I first put it on the card so I sprayed it with Jingle Bell Glimmer Mist to get the right shade of yellow. I had a dress form stamp from My Mind's Eye that I thought would be perfect with the papers. I used a grey ink on that stamp. Finally, I added a button to the card.

Busy, busy, busy...
I have been busy this past weekend creating and boy, was that fun! I'd like to share a few of the things with you today!
The first thing is a birthday card and an envelope. Here is the card:
The light messed this pic up a little bit. There is only kraft card stock as the base of the card with a transparency from Glitz on top. The pic makes it look like there is something white under the transparency but there is not. Other supplies used include: Crate paper, my Cuttlebug, Hero Arts stamp, EK Success border punch, and vintage ribbon.
Next is the envelope:

Please go to The Scrappy Tree's site for more information on the challenge and information on the card I made. Today is a busy day with the kiddos. We have a lot of Valentine's projects to do so this post is a bit rushed!!
Finally, I made the card above for fun and for my own personal stash on Saturday. I used only scraps from Webster's Pages and October Afternoon for this card! The stamps are from Hero Arts (sentiment) and 7 Gypsies. Once again, I couldn't resist using Martha Stewart's white doily on this card!
Thank you for looking today and I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Love Notes
I was snooping around some wonderful shops in Etsy and I came across this Air Mail Supplies Basic Kit from the Mish Mash Etsy shop and I knew it would be perfect for a Valentine project.
I glued the white doily on to the envelope. Then I stamped a Hero Arts heart on white cardstock, cut it out and glued it on. I wrapped the string around the envelope. I took the little white tag and stamped the Inkadinkado sentiment on. I rummaged through my old stamp collection and found some really cool stamps to add on as well.

It's been awhile...
I haven't done a scrapbook page in ages and I took part in my friend Michelle's challenge over at Scrapbook Daisies. The challenge involved using the word love and a love quote or verse.
I took the verse/quote from a Sugarland song and used my label maker for it. I put it on top of a Jenni Bowlin journaling circle. The base paper of the layout is from October Afternoon and Jenni Bowlin. The rub ons around the picture are from 7 Gypsies. I used thickers for the word "love". I going to try and do more layouts in the future!
