December is upon us! Boy does time go fast! It seems like I've been busy with one thing or another and my poor blog got neglected. I'd like to get a post in here today that has a Christmas paper bag album that I posted to The Scrappy Tree blog today.
I really enjoy making paper bag albums. For the most part, they are quick things to whip up and just fun to decorate. For this one I used some old Webster's Pages Christmas paper and some of their trims as well as their stickers. I was also able to use some vintage sheet music that I got from an auction.
Here's a sample of the interior of the album. For more pics and info, please check out The Scrappy Tree blog. Have a wonderful day!

Recent Christmas Cards
Hello! I recently decided to enter another craft sale that is next month and I thought I better get moving on some Christmas cards! I had gotten Papertrey Ink's Love Lives Here: Holidays stamps and coordinating die. I just love the angel. Here are a few cards I made focusing on the angel from the set.

No place like home
This past weekend was fun not only because I got to spend time with friends and scouring garage sales and the Junk Bonanze, but it was also a time to get crafty! I altered a fence post that I got from the thrift store a couple of weeks back for today's Scrappy Tree blog post and here is the finished product. Stop on over to The Scrappy Tree for more details! It was a fun thing to work on.
During my fun weekend, my friend Erica and I had a little craft time together before she headed off to the airport. We each made a coaster wall hanging to exchange with each other. It was a lot of fun to do. Here is what she made me:

A wonderful Weekend
Hello! I had a wonderful weekend with my friend from Rochester and my friend from Texas. I have a few pictures to share today. I'll have more to share once I can figure out how to get the pictures from my iphone to my computer. :)
We went to visit Minneopa State Park this weekend to see the waterfalls. The only bad thing was the dry conditions we have been having. The waterfall was just a trickle!
My friend Erica enjoying a hike up some steep stairs at the waterfall.

The kids enjoyed Erica's visit, as did I. Please excuse Dylan in his pajama pants in this picture. LOL
The girls enjoyed the Falls too.
This is one of my favorite photo op spots at the waterfall. I love the stairs that just keep going up and up!

As I said, I will have some more to share soon and I'll also share a photo of a gorgeous little coaster wall hanging that Erica made me while we were crafting on Sunday!
Thanks for stopping by today!

The 4th and a few minis
Hello everyone! Happy Belated 4th! I wanted to share a few photos from our 4th celebration. We went to a little town's parade and Dylan had to get a prime spot!
I had to immortalize this moment of sisterly love! These two have been bugging each other lately!

Recent layouts
I recently did a bunch of layouts! For me, 4 pages is a bunch. I am not typically doing layouts it seems, but I did have fun with these and I'd like to share them with you today. Here's one of the kids at the Mall of America on the Merry Go Round:
I followed a sketch from Susan Stringfellow pretty closely and expanded it to a two page spread. I used Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe papers and embellies for these pages and an EK Success border punch.
Here are the two pages together:

The next layouts I'd like to share is from the Junk Bonanza in Shakopee, MN. Last year my friend Erica came up and we met our friend Melissa for a fun day of junking!! Here are two pages I made of the day:
I used Crate Paper again, this time the Restoration line which I love! All the embellies were from the same line with the exception of the plastic flowers which are from Making Memories.

A great weekend
Our friends were down from WI this weekend to visit and boy did we have fun! We were able to go to Mineopa State Park and scrap and just hang out! Such fun! Here are a few pics to share.
I just love the long staircase!

We have had so much rain lately that the Falls were really flowing and muddy! The mist was spraying up at us from where we stood.
I had the kids do a silly face at the park! LOL. Fun!

As for crafting, I was able to make a few cards, almost complete a few layouts and I made these tags. I have a post on The Scrappy Tree detailing the technique I used for the tags. I had a lot of fun making them!
