Happy Earth Day! I just wanted to share with you a little post for Earth Day that I made for
The Scrappy Tree. I took a Crystal Light container and altered it for a teacher gift!

These bookmarks fit inside. I thought bookmarks would be fitting for a teacher! :)

April's Inspiration Challenge: Come and Play!

For April's Inspiration Monday, the image selected just spoke to Spring and Easter! Here's the image: Don't those cupcakes look amazing?!? I did not make cupcakes, but I thought I would create a project of Easter treats for the kiddos. Here's my take on the inspiration pic:

I used my Marvy scalloped circle punches and my Papertrey Ink Spring tag stamp set. I had glassine bags that I filled with a few chocolate treats. I tied ribbon on the bag and adhered my circles and bunny/chick. I did use 3D foam squares to mount my chick or bunny. I hope they are a hit at the house!

The Bargello Techniqe over at The Scrappy Tree

One of my favorite websites to frequent is Splitcoaststampers. They are full of inspirational images from great artists and they also have wonderful tutorials on techniques. One of those techniques is the Bargello technique. I detail it in my post on The Scrappy Tree today. I want to share the final results with you. Here is the card I made.

I also made a twinchie using the technique too.
