I just love Fall and Halloween. The colors, the sights, everything is just wonderful to me. So, when I needed to come up with an idea for 10 swap cards for R Impressions Fall Swap, I thought it would be the perfect time to ink up my new $1 Halloween stamp from Michaels.
I just love those $1 stamps! They are stamps that I share with the kids are super cute!! I added a bit of lace, Glimmer Mist and sparkly gems to finish off the card!

A Little Bit of Texas in Minnesota!
Happy Monday! This was such a fun weekend! I had my friend Erica here (she has her blog Zunky Chic) from Texas and we enjoyed every moment! Here are a few pics~! There will be more coming later.

This was Herman the German monument that Tom, Erica, Ella and Dylan were brave enough to go to the top on. I was too chicken. I made it to the first landing (before the spiral staircase) before my nerves said that was enough. In my defense, it is HIGH up at the top!
Erica, our good friend Melissa and myself having way too much fun junking it up at The Junk Bonanza! We were so lucky that Melissa could meet us. She was celebrating her 10th anniversary and took time out of her weekend to come meet us and shop!! Happy Anniversary Melissa and Eric! I will have more pics of the great stuff at The Junk Bonanza this week too!
Erica, Dylan and Tom taking a breather on a park bench! Antique shopping can sure wear a person out!
Debbie and Erica share a hug. Debbie and Erica got to do a bit of crafting this weekend and Debbie loved every moment!

I'll be back with more pics soon! Thank you Erica for coming for a visit!

Friendships are extremely important to me! I am having a lot of fun with my good friend Erica this weekend and it has made me realize that I have yet to post pics of my meeting with my friend Michelle and her lovely family from last month! We enjoyed dinner out and getting together for some fun!

Back to School Twinchies
I take part in a monthy inchie swap and this month we decided to switch it up a little and do "Twinchies" which are 2 by 2 squares and the theme was Back To School. I found these adorable pattern images which reminded me of the old school days.
I used vintage pattern images and Fall paper from Fancy Pants which had handwriting on it. It was fun to make the Twinchies this month. We'll have to do it again!!
I hope everyone has a great weekend! I am looking forward to a visit from my friend Erica and we are meeting our friend Melissa on Friday at the Junk Bonanza! I will be sharing lots of pics in the next few days!!

Second post in one day....CRAZY!!
Craft festival and other goings on!
It has been super busy here lately, but a lot of fun too. We had our Arts and More Festival in town this past Saturday and Sunday and I wanted to share some of the pics with you today. The following pic is of Mater the tow truck in our parade.
Debbie and Ella were in the parade as part of dance class to give out candy. Ella is getting huge handful here.

The kids and their balloon art!
I had a craft table to sell some handmade cards and this is a close up of the wind blowing my banner! LOL. The wind was causing me troubles, but I got the best of it!
I had my bookmarks for sale as well. I did really well with these and sold quite a few! I even had my first international customer as a man from Thailand flew in for a reunion and picked up a bunch for gifts!
