Good morning!  A lot of my crafty time has been devoted to my scraproom reorganization.  But, now I'm getting back into action.  I'd like to share a few pictures of a paper bag pocket I made last night.

I just loved the October Afternoon Paper so I used that as a focal point in the project.  I had an antique Egg Saver envelope and a doily that I added to the outside of the paper bag pocket.  For the inside, I added a card to let someone know how happy they make me.  Here's a close up of the card:

I still used the October Afternoon paper but I added some white crepe paper stitched on to a panel of paper and a tag with my Papertrey Ink sentiment stamped on it.  I painted a Maya Rd. chipboard heart, sprinkled it with mica flakes and added it on as a simple finishing touch!

Thank you for looking today!

This is really pretty. I think that was one of my favorite lines from OA.

Hi Julie!
Erica posted your link and I thought I would pop over to say hello. Hope you are enjoying our mild winter this year. We haven't taken out our snowblower once so far. We would like to keep it that way. When we are old we can talk about the winter of 2011-12. Lofty goals I have, don't I???

I think about you when I drive down to see my daughter at college. I love that town, it has everything, including a Hobby Lobby, which I don't have up here. I could spend hours there. So fun.

Love your sweet bag pockets. They will definitely make someone smile! I am now friends with the girl who made the book you bought the first year at the JunkBonanza. She is so sweet. We go hunting for treasures together. Can't wait until spring and the garage sales/flea markets start up!

Have a good week, can't believe it is already Wednesday. Hooray for presidents!
