Lots of birthdays coming up!

Last night I got crafty and got a start on a lot of Summer birthday cards that need to get done. It seems like each month has at least 5 birthdays in it, so I better get busy! :) I took a photo of one of the cards I made last night. (I'm saving pics of others for when I have a creative dry spell and need some pics for my blog! lol).

This card used Webster's Pages papers, a vintage newspaper from 1900 (yes, I tore the original, but in my defense, I have a lot of them!!) I made a copy of a vintage pattern girl (this one is one of my favorites and I paid almost $10 for her on ebay! Yikes!!) and I glued her on with Yes Glue! Oh, I did attempt to stitch with my sewing machine before I put her on the card, but I was having problems because I did not let the glue dry first and my needle was sticking. So, the sewing is a bit rough! LOL! I still liked it though so I added the pattern girl, a ribbon and the Happy Birthday sentiment (Elizabeth Craft Designs) to the card to complete it. The inside of the card is also stitched (I didn't glue first that time!! lol)

Have a wonderful day!!

Beautiful card!!! I love the vintage lady. WP's is perfect for all of your vintage cards and pages!! Love their paper, but it intimidates me.
