It's Monday!!! :)

It's that time again.....Monday! How does the weekend go by so quickly? I know I can't be the only one wondering that this morning! :) Anyway, I have big plans today. I need to make some cards in my free time today for the Crafty Festival. We'll see how many I get done! I did make 3 last night that I will share with you tomorrow. Today I'm going to share a birthday card I need to mail off today to a relative who is having a birthday.

Now as I sit here and try and remember the supplies I used, I'm going to say the stamp is from Inkadinkado. I don't have the card with me right now! lol. Anyway, the papers are Websters Pages, the ribbon is from The Paper Studio, the flowers are KaiserKraft, and the buttons are from my stash of old buttons.

I hope your Monday is a good one! Thanks for stopping by today!

A corner bookmark frenzy

I have been enjoying a lot of crafty time this weekend, which was good, since I am making things for the upcoming craft fair. I made a ton of bookmarks to add to my total. I have a total of 40 done now. Here are some of the ones I made:

The above bookmarks are best for paperback books. They are 3 in. wide in the biggest part and I used all scrap papers.
The above bookmarks are for hardcover books. They are 4 in. wide at their longest point. I really had fun using some of these felt, jeweled embellies and ric rac!

The owl stamp on these bookmarks is on loan from my Mother in Law and I just think he's super cute!
These are also large bookmarks (4 in. wide at the longest point). I really liked the one on the right where I used Patina Glimmer Mist on the kraft cardstock!
Thanks for looking today!

A Challenge Page

I joined a challenge over at Scrapbook.com where you needed to use flowers and bling on a layout. I decided to use this picture of Ella because it's one of my favorite pics of her. She is such a cutie pie! I used Prima flowers and bling for the layout. I used American Crafts and Basic Grey papers for the layout and vintage lace.
I am also excited to share that I have my Etsy shop all ready to go. Just click HERE if you'd like to check it out!! I hope to be adding more items to it soon.

A card for Craft Festival

I'm trying to prepare for the Craft Festival in town in September and last night I made 4 cards. Here's one of them:

Supplies Used:
Bazzill Kraft Cardstock
Hero Arts stamps
DCWV papers
$1.00 Michaels Gems
Dune ColorBox Inkpad
Ribbons from stash
Fiskars Border Punch

I made 3 other cards similar to this one, just with different papers and ribbons. It was very quick to put together which is good for getting ready for the Festival.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

10 Days!!!

How in the world did I let 10 days go by without a post!! Well, here's a quickie with a bad pic!! First off...today is my sister Sara's Birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARA!!! Secondly, it is a wonderful (but hot) Saturday here in Minnesota and I am enjoying time in my scraproom making some birthday cards and more bookmarks for the Craft Festival in September.

Today I am going to share my bad pic of a Girly Swap item that I made for my friend Debbie. I made this so she could hang it up in her craft space.

Supplies used: GCD Studios transparency, Pink Paislee chipboard, fabric tag from GCD Studios, Prima flower.
I hope you all are able to create beauty today!

Girly Swap goodies!

I had the honor recently to participate in a Girly Girl Swap with some talented friends of mine and I swaped out with two lovely ladies. Here is what they sent to me:

The first item I have to share is this lovely Dream banner from my friend Diana. It is currently hanging in my scrap room in my attic! It is very inspiring to see each day!

Diana also sent along this gorgeous table top decoration with three beautiful embellished butterflies inside a Dr. Pepper bottle! How creative!!

My friend Debbie is a fabulous jewelry maker, in addition to paper crafter, and one of the items she made me is this beautiful beaded necklace! I treasure it!

Thank you so much ladies for all of your kindness and your beautiful projects will always be a treasure to me!

It's been too long...

Okay, I'm finally getting crafty this week. Much of my past week has been spent playing with the kiddos and cleaning. Today I replaced cleaning with crafting...way better in my opinion. My Grandmother came over today to work on some corner bookmarks and these are some I've made. These would make great gifts or be perfect to add to a book that you've decided to give someone.

This past Saturday I had a fun day out with my Aunt and Grandmother and one of the places we went to was Weeds and Reeds in New Ulm where they had a Junk Squad sale full of antique goodies! Here was my haul!

A close up of my blue tin box and its contents:

I wish every weekend was this fun!
