A freezing, but fun Saturday

When we woke up today it was -27 degrees! Ugh! Enough on that subject. Anyway, we were perhaps crazy, but we bundled up and went to town to do a little shopping. We ended up going to two antique stores where I happily found more treasures to use!

I didn't have any more patterns of little boys so I happily snatched these up to make some cards with!

I just loved the dresses on these girls and I thought that they would be perfect for some Spring and Summer cards!

I was really interested in the pattern above and to the left! It is children playing in Winter! I thought I would try and use them on a Winter layout.

I LOVE milk glass and the antique store had 90% off!!!!!!!!!!!! I got this bowl to hold who knows what right now in my scraproom!

This bowl will also have some sort of use in my scraproom! I was super excited to get this too! It was a good weekend for me in finding some great vintage items! Now I just need to get busy doing something with them!!

Very cool finds. If you find any more pretty milkglass 90% off, send some my way - I collect it too! Those patterns are adorable. Can't wait to see what you make. I don't even know if my car would start in -27 degrees! I've NEVER even been somewhere that gets that cold :)
