Art journaling
My friend Gayle introduced me to art journaling and over at The Scrappy Tree, she's started an art journaling challenge. This first art journaling prompt was to create a page based on Alice In Wonderland and this was so much fun. I painted my page with purple paint, then I used some vintage newspaper that my Grandmother had sent me. I thought it was appropriate that the title of the paper was "The Portal". I included an Alice In Wonderland image as well as a quote to my page. I also used glitter, flowers, and chipboard flourishes to complete my page.

I *love* the torn paper effect, really draws you into the 'portal' :-)
