A Christmas Reverie

9 days to Christmas! Is everyone ready? I am not! I have relatives out of state and I have not even sent off their gifts yet! Yikes! I hope to do that this afternoon!

Last night I was able to do some crafting! It has been so cold lately and that means that I have a very cold attic craft space. The heat just does not travel well up to third floor. I always need a little heater up there. Well, last night I did not start it early, so I was traveling from the attic and then back down to the bedroom to craft. I didn't want to freeze to death upstairs. Anyway, for my project, I copied an old vintage postcard from 1908 as my main image. I inked (with Chalk ink) around it and mounted it on my background paper(Provo Craft) and sheet music. I used Prima flowers and gemstones from Michaels dollar section, as well as Martha Stewart bakers twine to complete the card. I think I will be giving this one to my mother in law for Christmas.
I made some bookmarks as Christmas gift ideas which on The Scrappy Tree's blog today. If you have time, check out the wonderful gift ideas there!

Hope everyone is staying nice and warm and getting ready for the holidays!
